How Long Does Dental Bonding Last?

In this video, Dr. Chris Powell explains the longevity of dental bonding with proper oral home care.

People often ask how long dental bonding will last. The longevity of dental bonding depends on how well you take care of it. Dental bonding requires a bit more caution than natural teeth, so avoid activities like opening chip bags or biting through strings, as these can chip the bonding. While it is not as strong as natural teeth, proper care can help dental bonding last three to five years. If it does break, we can typically fix and reapply the bonding. We invite you to come in for a free consultation to see if dental bonding is the right option for you.
