Taylor Atherton was born in Cary, North Carolina, and graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with degrees in Biology and Chemistry. His dental training was completed at the UNC School of Dentistry in Chapel Hill. He currently practices general dentistry at Carolina Dental Art, Durham, NC.

It is well known among Dr. Taylor Atherton’s patients that he is kind and caring and always takes the time to explain any recommended treatment. In addition to providing complex restorative care, he can repair and rebuild damaged or worn teeth and save teeth that may otherwise need to be extracted.

Having undertaken extensive training in all aspects of restorative and cosmetic dentistry, Dr. Atherton has extensive experience in tooth whitening, Invisalign, cosmetic braces, smile makeovers, veneers, and bonding. In all of Dr. Atherton’s treatments, the patient’s needs are the priority. He has years of experience helping patients restore oral health and improve their smiles.
