Originally from Clayton, North Carolina, Dr. Sandhu has always been drawn to helping others feel at ease and cared for. Her approach to dentistry is thoughtful and attentive, built on taking the time to get to know each person who walks through our doors. She believes that great dental care is about more than skill with the latest tools and techniques. It is about creating a space where patients feel comfortable, understood, and supported in their health. Get To Know Dr. Arun Sandhu
Dr. Sandhu earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the UNC Adams School of Dentistry, one of the most respected dental schools in the nation and ranked second among all U.S. programs. The school is known for its rigorous training, innovative research, and commitment to patient care. Her education there provided her with advanced clinical skills, a strong foundation in the latest dental techniques, and the ability to approach each patient’s care with precision and attention to detail.
Before dental school, Dr. Sandhu completed a master’s degree in physiology at NC State University, where she developed a deep understanding of how the body’s systems work together to support overall health. She also earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from UNC Chapel Hill, which helps her connect with people and better understand their needs and concerns about dental care. This path has equipped her with the tools to deliver exceptional dentistry while genuinely connecting with the people in her care.
Life Outside the Practice
When she isn’t caring for patients, Dr. Sandhu enjoys running, watching movies, and exploring new restaurants. She loves discovering local flavors, finding new running routes, and relaxing with a good film. As she settles into Goldsboro, she looks forward to getting to know the community—not only as a dentist, but also as a neighbor who is excited to share in its everyday life.
