Traditional Dentures
Traditional dentures are removable appliances designed to replace missing teeth. They have a gum-colored base that sits directly on your gums, holding a row of artificial teeth made from acrylic or porcelain. These dentures rely entirely on suction and fit to stay in place. Some patients also use adhesive for extra security.
They’re often the starting point because they’re simple and noninvasive. For many people, traditional dentures restore appearance and allow for basic eating and speaking. But they come with clear limitations. They can shift during meals or conversations. They may impact your ability to speak clearly. And because they sit on the gums without engaging the jawbone, they do nothing to stop bone loss over time. As the bone changes, the fit worsens, leading to discomfort and frustration.

Overdentures
With overdentures, we take the same general idea as a traditional denture, but we give it something it was missing: stability. Instead of relying only on suction or adhesive, we place a few mini dental implants into the jaw. These small posts act like anchors, and the denture clicks into place on top of them.
From the outside, it looks almost the same. It still has a gum-colored base and artificial teeth. But once it’s in, it stays put. You can eat, talk, and laugh without worrying about it sliding around. And because those implants connect with the bone, they help reduce the kind of bone loss that makes regular dentures loose over time.
If you already have dentures, there’s a good chance we can work with what you have. As long as the fit is decent and there’s enough space, we may be able to modify your existing denture to work with implants. In most cases, this upgrade can be completed in a single visit.
Overdentures give us a solid middle ground. You still take them out at night, but during the day, they feel much more secure.
Roundhouse Bridge
A roundhouse bridge replaces all the teeth in one arch, either upper or lower. It’s a single, continuous piece that spans from one side of the mouth to the other, forming a smooth horseshoe shape. This design creates a seamless row of teeth that looks and functions like a natural smile.
We offer two versions of the roundhouse bridge. The first is semi-removable. Once it’s in place, you don’t have to remove it. You care for it like natural teeth, brushing and rinsing daily. Then, when you come in for your routine dental visits, we remove the bridge to clean around the implants. Patients like this option because it feels permanent but doesn’t require them to manage it on their own. This is often referred to as a fixed hybrid bridge. One common system we use is called Fix on Six, where the bridge is secured to six or more mini dental implants.
The second option is non-removable. This bridge is permanently in place and cannot be removed. We typically use ten to twelve mini dental implants to support it. Once it’s on, it functions just like natural teeth. You clean it just like you would your own teeth, and it stays in place at all times.

Dental implants give us a way to stop that cycle. When we place a small implant into the jawbone, it does more than just hold a denture in place. The bone begins to grow around it, creating a direct connection through a process called osseointegration. This secure bond allows the implant to work like a natural tooth root. It picks up the force from chewing and transmits it into the bone, just like real teeth do.
